Hot diggity dog! Alberta Dachshund Rescue is going to be holding a Wiener Dog Race on Sunday only at the 2024 Edmonton Pet Expo, happening March 9 & 10 at the Edmonton EXPO Centre! That’s right, this is your chance to see these tiny-legged wonders go head-to-head to see who is the fastest! Watch these little dynamos strut their stuff as they dash for victory in a battle of the barks at 10:30am on Sunday, March 10th at the Doggy Demo Area! Don’t miss this opportunity to cheer on your favourite pint-sized athlete and find out who the wiener winner of the Dachshund Race is!
Alberta Dachshund Rescue (ADR) is a non-profit organization with the purpose of rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing dachshunds in need. With a network of experienced rescue people, their dream is a time when every dachshund in Alberta has a loving home for its entire life. Founded in 1999, they have been finding loving forever homes for dachshunds for 15 years now! That’s a lot of happy adorable dachshunds!
They do their best to support and work with owners to help them keep their dogs. In cases where that is not possible, they take the dogs to rehome.
