Once again, we are delighted to have the City of Edmonton as our Presenting Sponsor for the 2016 Edmonton Pet Expo! This year, the City will be taking their commitment a step further and inviting pet-focused City partners to join in on the fun and help educate all of us on what it means to be a responsible pet owner.
City staff will be on hand to share information about lost pet recovery, pet adoption, pet licensing and volunteer opportunities. Visitors can also look forward to:
- visiting the Animal Care & Control Centre booth to learn how they care for animals,
- taking a peek into an actual Animal Control vehicle to see how Peace Officers safely transport pets,
- asking a real Edmonton Firefighter questions about pet safety in the home and in vehicles,
- learning about which of the more than 40 off leash areas you and your pup will want to visit this year, and
- talking to a Park Ranger about how you and your pet can safely enjoy our River Valley all year long! And so much more!
