Did you know that Edmonton’s River Valley is the largest stretch of urban parkland in North America? That’s right, Edmonton “Ribbon of Green“ is pretty amazing. With 160km of maintained pathways and 20 major parks, the River Valley is a natural wonder for all of us to enjoy!
We wanted to bring a taste of the City’s grassy gems to the Pet Expo – so we are proud to present the City of Edmonton “River Valley Sanctuary”. This mini valley area comes complete with trees, grass, picnic tables and benches – just like you’d find in one of Edmonton’s many green spaces. This is your chance to take a break from walking around – grab a seat, chill on the grass and learn all about Edmonton’s wonderful parks and River Valley!
